Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or another related field, and preferably a master’s degree in business administration, Network Security, Computer Science or the like
  • Experience and certified in Project Management (e.g., Prince2 or scrum)
  • English proficiency
  • 5 years or more working experience in Internal IT Management
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions
  • Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations
  • Understanding of programming, computer science, digital security client/server technology and network architecture
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technology
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Advanced leadership and conflict management skills

Main functions and responsibilities

  • Analyzing, recommending, and coordinating with third parties the acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and IT-related services and equipment
  • Managing and reporting on IT Software and Device Asset Management
  • Managing user access for all systems
  • Advising and writing proposals for management on the developments and deployment of new IT solutions for the company
  • Designing, implementing, monitoring and updating security strategies for our internal IT Systems
  • Designing, implementing, monitoring Backup-disaster, recovery systems and procedures
  • Interacting with Off-shore IT solutions providers (e.g., developers) to realize and improve IT Projects
  • Interacting with our Technical IT staff to realize and coordinate implementations (in collaboration with the Services Delivery Manager)
  • Detecting improvement opportunities and providing guidance to other departments on internal organizational procedures
  • Providing support in the selection processes for e.g., sales and or IT departments
  • Supporting vendor relationships and vendor contracts related to hardware, software and IT services
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing technology strategies, to include performing software and application development, installation and upgrades.
  • Providing support and technical assistance. Investigating user problems, identifying causes, determining solutions, testing and implementing solutions for end-users on computer related matters
  • Developing and administering instructions and/or imparting training for system users on operating systems, relational databases and other applications
  • Helping users maximize the use of networks and computer systems by imparting adoption training and/or instructions
  • Any other tasks related to the position as required by his/her supervisor
