At Inova Solutions, as the leading Microsoft Solutions Partner in the Caribbean, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager to drive growth across Microsoft cloud-based IT solutions and licensing. In this position, you will manage key enterprise accounts, develop new opportunities across the region and act as a trusted advisor to senior IT managers and C-level decision makers. Achieving success in this role necessitates both transactional and consultative sales expertise, as well as an in-depth understanding of selling and advising on IT Cloud services and managed IT solutions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven track record to drive new sales and build long-term customer relationships that deliver business value.

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent experience
• Strong interest in technology and solid knowledge of IT and software to credibly position solutions to customers
• Transactional and consultative selling expertise in IT services, Cloud solutions and software licenses
• Strong written and verbal skills in English
• 5 to 10 years of experience in selling Microsoft IT services and solutions.
• Candidates with Microsoft certifications, such as MS-900 or above, are preferred.
• Familiarity with sales management tools such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or comparable platforms
• Understanding Microsoft Cloud solutions
• A professional network across the Caribbean is considered beneficial.
• Self-Management and Time-Management • Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Shows an effort to understand and address customer needs.

Main functions and responsibilities

• Cultivating and nurturing key customer relationships while actively pursuing new business prospects in the Caribbean market
• Executing sales strategies as Account Manager within designated markets
• Capable of managing existing accounts and proactively seeking new business opportunities throughout the Caribbean region
• Driving sales of Microsoft licensing, Cloud solutions (Azure, M365, Security) and managed IT services
• Willingness and capability to undertake monthly travel throughout the Caribbean region
• Collaborating closely with the Inova Solutions Marketing Team to generate brand new leads
• Efficiently converting potential leads into valuable business opportunities
• Enabling communication and coordination between customers and Inova Solutions’
• Technology and IT-delivery Professionals
• Achieving and exceeding financial targets and KPIs
• Keeping up with industry trends and technological changes affecting our customers’ sectors
• Act as trusted advisor, providing consultative insights to C-level and senior IT decision makers
• Complying with all policies, procedures, and administrative protocols established by Inova Solutions
• Overseeing all aspects of customer sales and account management
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth
• Successfully obtain and maintain all relevant certifications specified in the training plan
• Any other activities related to the position.
