Skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business or a related field
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, supported by relevant certification(s) (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile/Scrum or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of ITSM (IT Service Management) preferably certified such as ITIL and or relevant IT education
• Solid familiarity with project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet, Microsoft Project, Jira or similar)
• Well-founded understanding of IT concepts and services (e.g., Cloud, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ticketing, etc.)
• 4 (four) or more years of proven experience coordinating IT services and or projects delivery, applying project methodologies to help deliver initiatives on time and within scope
• Experience supporting internal teams and coordinating with external vendors and or subcontractors
• Communicating and documenting effectively, while maintaining a proactive, rock-hard hands-on approach
• Strong verbal and written skills in English
• Strong verbal and written skills in Spanish is a plus
Main functions and responsibilities
• Coordinating the timely delivery and quality delivery of IT solutions by aligning internal teams and external vendors
• Planning and tracking project milestones and deliverables ensuring successful IT project execution
• Monitoring project intake by assigning IT resources based on availability and skills, while monitoring progress and escalating risks to meet delivery deadlines
• Preparing and updating project status reports for stakeholders, including internal teams and customers
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project tracking tools for visibility and reporting purposes
• Streamlining workflows by applying effective coordination practices and identifying process improvements
• Identifying skill gaps within teams and recommending development opportunities to management and HR
• Managing subcontractor assignments and deliverables ensuring quality execution and milestone adherence
• Facilitating communication between internal teams, customers and subcontractors to ensure alignment on goals and expectations
• Any other activity related to the position
