Critical Microsoft CSP Update: Grace Period Elimination. What Every Organization Needs to Know
If your organization relies on Microsoft CSP license-based subscriptions, this change affects you.
Effective May 4, 2026, Microsoft will eliminate the automatic post-expiration grace period for CSP subscriptions. Any subscription with an end date on or after May 4, 2026 will require proactive renewal before expiry.
What you should do now:
We urge you to review all active CSP subscription end dates, identify any that fall on or after May 4, 2026, and ensure renewal steps are completed well in advance of expiration.
